Milia are small, raised white/yellowish bumps on the skin; they are a type of skin cyst filled with a protein called Keratin. They are usually 1-2mm in size and are usually found on the face especially around the eyes and cheek area, however they can occur anywhere on the body. Milia can occur in all ages and apart from their appearance they have no other symptoms.
